Debra A. Pierson, PMP |

A certified PMI Project Management Professional, Deb Pierson has excelled for many years of technical support and project management services to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, first at IBM and now at PCCi, which she founded in 1993. As President and CEO, Deb oversees business development, business operations, and project operations, as well as establishes relationships with key business partners. Deb thrives on team work. She especially enjoys watching her team members exceed customer challenges because of the way they work together. Recently, she was honored as a national finalist for the 2008 Enterprising Woman of the Year by Enterprising Women magazine. PCCi also enjoyed media attention as a finalist for the Central Penn Business Journal’s Small Business of the Year and as a finalist for Harrisburg Regional Chamber’s Small Business of the Year. A 2007 YWCA Tribute to Women of Excellence winner, Deb is a passionate community servant. She generously donates time to Silver Spring Youth Baseball, the Alzheimer’s Association of Greater PA, the Technology Council of Central Pennsylvania, the Harrisburg Regional Chamber, and the West Shore Chamber and its Technology Council. Married to Jeff Pierson, Deb counts herself profoundly grateful for his personal and professional support. Deb and Jeff have two teenage daughters, Jackie and Elizabeth. The family owns a German Shorthair Pointer, a cat, two turtles, and a miniature schnauzer, Annie, who does double duty as the PCCi office mascot. Deb’s hobbies include scrap booking, reading, and antiquing.
Janese C. Shenk
Director of Project Operations
PCCi’s Director of Project Operations, Janese Shenk plans, directs, and coordinates all installation projects. A dedicated associate for seven years, Janese feels genuinely privileged to be part of PCCi’s outstanding team. Married to her best friend Joe, she loves spending time with her two “kids”—chocolate Labradors Harley Girl and Miss Breezy. Janese loves the outdoors, camping, beachcombing, and cruising with Joe on their Harleys.
Rick Loffredo
Director of Business Operations
As a member of the PCCi team, Rick Loffredo lends his professional dependability and strong work ethic to the role of Director of Business Operations. Relishing the many opportunities to be involved with a variety of PCCi projects, Rick oversees company financials, manages human resources operations, coordinates PCCi benefit and insurance policies, and is charged with developing new business. He has been honored with several leadership and management awards. Rick is an active member of Mechanicsburg Brethren in Christ Church. He and his wife have a son and a daughter, and a Bichon Frise named Molly. Rick enjoys cooking, fishing, gardening, and reading.
Jeff Pierson
Director of Facilities
As PCCi’s Director of Facilities, Jeff performs efficient installations of computer equipment, including network and server cabinets, whiteboards, ceiling mounted projectors, and cabling; maintains PCCi facilities, tools, and equipment; and conducts site surveys at customer facilities. Jeff is a Certified Promethean and Polyvision Whiteboard installer and a Certified Tyco/AMP ND&I installer. He is involved in the Enola Sportsmen’s Club and Silver Spring Youth Baseball. Married to Deb, he has two daughters—Jackie and Elizabeth—and a German Shorthair Pointer, Lucy. Jeff’s pastimes include hunting, four wheeling, and fishing.
Brooke Catalano
Project Administrator
Brooke Catalano has joined the PCCi team as the Project Administrator - reporting to Janese Shenk, Director of Project Operations. Brooke is responsible for providing assistance and support to the Project Operations Division. Her administrative background and skills along with her attention to detail are very crucial in her role at PCCi. She and her husband have two daughters, two dogs and cat and reside in the Mechanicsburg area. Her family enjoys the outdoors and camping. In her spare time, Brooke loves to cook and bake and spend time with her family.
Nancy DelSanto
Project Manager
Nancy joined the PCCi team after spending 27 years at IBM Corporation. During her career, she managed numerous global deployment projects and developed significant project management experience. She now imparts those skills to PCCi as manager of the company’s IBM Server Storage Contract with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The contract covers all services provided as part of deployment of IBM Servers and Storage systems throughout the Commonwealth. Nancy also provides administrative support to the office staff. Married with two children, Nancy relaxes by reading, boating, gardening, and giving lots of attention to her Jack Russell terrier, Bandit.
Wanda Dagen
Team Leader
PCCi benefits from Wanda’s wealth of technical knowledge in a distinguished career at Pennsylvania State Police. There, she was responsible for managing networking, printers, and servers at the State Police headquarters. Always willing to learn and expand her professional horizons, Wanda works to ensure that the PCCi customers in her care are not just satisfied but delighted. Wanda is married with two grown sons; her favorite pastimes are reading and spending time with her three pets.
Don Walker
Team Leader
Don’s contagious energy, relaxed attitude, and willingness to learn help him to excel in his position of Team Lead, where he is responsible for PCCi’s team project installations. A diesel mechanic for over 20 years, Don holds a state inspection certification, AC certification, and emissions certification in the automotive field. Don’s goal as a PCCi employee is to earn every available certification in the technical field. He is well-pleased with the flexibility PCCi offers its employees. Don is involved in the Farmer’s Fair of Dillsburg and is a member of the Late Model Race Team at Williams Grove. Married to Sandy, the couple has one child, Zack, a dog named Lacy, and a Cat named Lucky. Don enjoys racing, camping, hunting, four wheeling, restoring old vehicles, and spending time outdoors.
Joyce Hair
Inventory Manager
Joyce came to Pierson Computing Connection, Inc. from the Pennsylvania State Police. Charged with maintaining and tracking all the computer hardware used by the State Police, she also became fluent in Access and Remedy databases, Excel, and AutoCAD. Joyce supervised new and existing construction projects at PSP offices that addressed technical requirements for the network, a responsibility that involved interfacing with numerous vendors and network administrators. Joyce is eager to share her knowledge with others and is valued for her contagious, positive attitude. She enjoys the outdoors and traveling with her family.
Sue Hanes
Project Administrator
Sue provides administrative support as Project Administrator to the Managed Services Provider (MSP) management team. Dependable and trustworthy, Sue impresses PCCi clients with her extraordinary attention to detail. She manages myriad duties for MSP, including the creation of numerous reports and updates to the project Web site. Married for nearly 20 years, Sue and her husband have two children, Emily and Mike. The family also has a lovable red-nosed pit bull named Bailey. Sue’s free time is spent driving to and from her children’s sports practices or cheering them on at their basketball, football, and baseball games. In rare moments of relaxation, she loves to curl up with a great book.
Pat Lyons
Project Administrator
As PCCi’s Project Administrator at the Unemployment Compensation Modernization System (UCMS) Project, Pat coordinates all phases of project documentation and assimilates project team members for seamless on-boarding and off-boarding. With unfailing accuracy, she organizes materials for invoicing, record-keeping and expense information for contractors, and performs administrative duties. Pat thrives on the esprit de corps between PCCi co-workers. In her leisure time, she participates in activities with the Notre Dame Club of Gettysburg, including the Adult Special Olympics. Pat is married with two grown sons.
Philip Reitz
Software Asset Analyst
As the Software Asset Analyst, Phil manages the inventory of mainframe and server software for the IBM Environment at the Commonwealth’s consolidated data center. This includes monitoring software release levels, installation and upgrade of software and providing hardware identification information. He joined the PCCi team after serving for 35 years as a Commonwealth systems analyst. Phil’s keen eye for detail, reliability, and dedication make him successful and uniquely qualified for his position. Phil is married with one daughter and looks forward to his daily run.
Bob Walker
Warehouse Manager
PCCi’s resident “Jack of all Trades,” Bob manages the PCCi warehouse and installs computer hardware as needed. He prides himself on his flexibility and dependability. Married with three adult children, Bob has seven grandchildren and has unwinds by rebuilding tractors and driving his 1967 Mustang.
Jean Boucher
Bookkeeper
Jean Boucher is the Financial Administrator for PCCi - reporting to Rick Loffredo, Director of Business Operations. Jean is responsible for supporting a variety of fiscal operations. She uses her financial background to streamline accounts payables and receivables, prepare invoices and purchase orders, and interact with vendors and clients on financial matters. Jean comments “My role supports a very dedicated group of people who are out in the field performing installations and managing complex IT projects”. Jean and her husband have two children and reside in the Dillsburg area. In her spare time, Jean enjoys jogging and doing crafts. She also dabbles in graphic arts on the side for charity functions and friends.
Curtis Wilson
Availability Specialist
Curtis Wilson joined PCCi after retiring from IBM after 31 years of service. He brings a wealth of technical expertise to PCCi. Curtis has assumed the role of Availability Specialist at the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s Data Center in Harrisburg. As a systems management expert, Curtis will work to ensure that the PennDOT IT systems are accessible and that changes do not adversely affect employees and customers. He also will oversee the change management and problem management processes at the Data Center. Curtis is married with four children and three grandchildren and lives in Harrisburg.
Tim Shearer
Sales Representative
Tim joined PCCi after a successful career in Sales. As the PCCi Sales Representative, Tim will be responsible for PCCi’s sales efforts. This includes maintaining and growing our existing customer and vendor relationships as well as creating partnerships with prospective customers. Tim and his wife Cheryl have two grown daughters and a granddaughter. Both Tim and his wife are active members in the children’s ministries of Mechanicsburg Brethren in Christ Church. In his spare time, Tim enjoys woodworking, camping and hiking.
Sherry Worley
Work Planner
Sherry has worked in the Information Technology Industry for the past 16 years. Sherry works on the Pennsylvania Unemployment Compensation Modernization Project with IBM Corporation. Her duties will include maintaining development project plans including schedule, tasks, milestones, resource assignments and time tracking as required to perform the project tracking function. Married with three step-children, Sherry resides in Mechanicsburg. In her spare time, Sherry volunteers for her condominium association and enjoys reading, gardening and cooking.
