Power Upgrade Project

Installed a new 480-volt, 1200-amp, three-phase electrical service into the Department of Health building in Harrisburg.  PCCi installed a 125 kilowatt Cummins-Onan generator, APC 40KW UPS, power distribution unit, and automatic transfer switch.  This project included trenching and the installation of underground conduit, the construction of a concrete pad to support the generator, and excavation to install a PP&L transformer vault.  PCCi placed  the conduit, breaker panel, and step-down transformer inside the building to re-power existing 208-volt, three -phase electrical panels, and equipment.
